Michael Stanzilis
CEO & Founder, Arlington Analytics
Mayor, Mount Arlington
Michael Stanzilis is a transformational leader with a proven track record in both public service and private sector leadership. With over two decades of experience navigating complex regulatory environments, developing strategic partnerships, and leading operational turnarounds, Michael brings a rare blend of government insight and business acumen to Arlington Analytics, LLC.
As the long-serving Mayor of Mount Arlington, New Jersey, Michael made good on his pledge to lower taxes, launching the memorable “Race to the Bottom” campaign to achieve one of the lowest tax rates in the region. His hands-on leadership also played a critical role in saving teacher jobs and preserving vital school programs during a time of budget crisis. These experiences solidified his belief that government can be more efficient, more responsive, and more innovative — especially when powered by smart, ethical uses of artificial intelligence.
In the private sector, Michael served in senior leadership roles including Vice President, Government Affairs and Membership at the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of Business Development at Solix, Inc. His work has consistently focused on building stakeholder consensus, streamlining operations, and driving growth through modernization. Earlier, he led large-scale security operations and high-profile service transformation initiatives — including the acclaimed “Ambassadors of First Impressions” program at Yankee Stadium.
Michael’s unique ability to “speak both government and tech fluently” led him to found Arlington Analytics, a consulting firm dedicated to helping local, county, and state governments adopt AI solutions and optimize business processes. His leadership philosophy centers on using innovation not as an end, but as a means to empower people, elevate communities, and drive measurable results.
Michael has earned a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Business Strategy from Johns Hopkins University, holds a Certificate in Security Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He is also deeply committed to public service through his volunteer work with the NYC Coalition for the Homeless, NYC Auxiliary Police, Habitat for Humanity, and as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
He currently serves as Vice President of the New Jersey Conference of Mayors and is the immediate past president of the Morris County League of Municipalities.
